Description How have you found working freelance? What are the highs and lows, the frustrations and the bonuses? I have found working as a freelance very rewarding. The highs are the flexibility, especially as I have young children, and the sense of achievement when a contract is won. The lows are the isolation of working alone from home and having to turn down a contract if I cannot fit it in. Has being a member of Freelancers In The UK helped you? We’d like to think so but how? I have had a number of enquiries as a result of being in Freelancers in the UK. What are the biggest challenges for you for the rest of 2008? My biggest challenge is to do more writing, as I used to do when I worked in-house, in addition to my proofreading and editing. I especially enjoy writing training material including test questions. Who’s your favourite actor/actress and why? My favourite actress is Emma Thompson because I think that she has the ability to act in a wide range of roles.
